The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It is remote. No cell service but the WiFi worked. It was quiet and peaceful. I understand why the description says 4X4 mandatory in the winter. It’s rough to get too. But our SUV handled it like a champ. There isn’t much around there. I would recommend taking the supplies in with you that you’ll need because there isn’t much handy. But the cabin was great! Hot tub was perfect! And the host, Eliot, was very responsive. Highly recommend. Well stay there again if it’s available next time.

A great place to stay if you want to connect with nature. Eliot was very prompt in responding if there were any issues and very quick to resolve. The kitchen was stocked with any appliance, dish, or utensil you would ever need, and the variety of entertainment options (games, activities, media, etc.) was expansive. The hot tub was the perfect touch. Would definitely recommend this property.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and so serene. It was a short weekend simply to spend quality time with family in the mountains. The lay out of the cabin was perfect and the beds were comfortable and cozy. There were several board games we enjoyed and the pool table was a huge plus. Our stay was accommodating for the Grandchildren. Also, the coffee station was also very nice. We packed all the food and drinks we needed and didn’t need to leave the cabin during our stay.

Eliot was very responsive and addressed all of our requests, he is a great host. He has a beautiful home with excellent access to the Appalachian Trail which is just a short drive up the mountain. Highly recommended the short hike to Big Bald and the amazing view.

Everything was perfect at the cabin. It was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub. We also liked the woods all around us and it was so relaxing to watch the deer.

Beautiful stay for our family for an impromptu ski trip. Absolutely nothing about the accommodation was disappointing. Mostly exceeded expectations. Borderline magical experience for our little family. Already talking about coming back!

Eliot’s cabin was great for our family of five. We got there right before it snowed to hit the slopes the next day. Note to self, bring food with you if you’re coming during winter months. The Instacart option is there - but far away. This was no fault of Eliot, just our own poor planning! Next time we will be better prepared. The king bed was lovely and the fireplace kept my attention! So beautiful. The home was decorated for Christmas 🎄 which made it even cozier. We will surely be back.

We loved our stay for a family of five (2 college, 1 hs kid). We wanted a secluded place to chill and connect with each other and all my expectations were met. The hot tub, pool table, cooking dinner in a well- stocked kitchen, and big TV to watch movies- all helped my family relax with each other and be entertained. Comfortable beds and plenty of room. The well stocked coffee bar was a very thoughtful touch and we all appreciated it. We also went on a great hike connecting to the AT. We arrived at the cabin in the dark and the roads for the last mile were very steep and treacherous because of extremely foggy conditions. There was a light dusting of snow the morning we left and we skidded down the very steep driveway. Just be aware of weather conditions and make sure you have 4WD in winter. I would highly recommend the cabin!

Our family of 5 had the best impromptu getaway at this property. The cabin looks exactly as the photos present, it's adorable, cozy and the quintessential picturesque "cabin." Everything you need is here, and I mean everything. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, linens/pillows/blankets, games, activities, The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. We were lucky to get a day of skiing in at Hatley Point opening weekend. The cabin is less than a 5 minute drive to the ski resort. My kids were upset we didn't book a longer stay or get to enjoy the fire pit or outside amenities. We didn't have time due to the short stay and some rain. Our family was sad to to leave and we're already working on a return visit in the very near future. My kids loved the place, I loved it, and husband loved it! Thank you for a wonderful 2 day getaway. Your place is perfection and we can't wait to stay here again.
